Project details
In 1968, Thackeray Street became the location for Thackeray Gallery, and it remains in the same premises. For thirty-seven years, it has been dedicated to promoting British contemporary art, with an emphasis on long term collaborations with their artists.
The Artists represented by Thackeray Gallery range from established names such as Sir Kyffin Williams O.B.E., R.A., Alberto Morrocco (1917-1998) O.B.E., R.S.A., R.S.W., Joanna Carrington (1931-2003) and Victoria Crowe O.B.E., A.R.S.A., R.S.W., to the next generation.
